Dimming your daytime running lights
This cable makes it easy to dim your daytime running lights. It is often used to turn fog lights into DRLs.

• With the low beam on: both DRL bulbs at half power
CAN-bus proof
This cable effectively bypasses the car's CAN-bus electronics.
CAN-bus is an on-board computer system found mostly in newer cars and motorcycles. Its main job is to tell you, the driver, when something is wrong, such as a failed bulb.
Not sure whether your vehicle has CAN-bus?
To check, unplug the low beam connector, switch on the lights and the engine, and see whether a warning appears on your dashboard.
