Short answer
Battery
Most Hilox MTB LEDs, armbands and LED dog collars have a rechargeable battery. A charger or USB cable is always supplied.
Training
It's important to train the battery properly and not let it get "lazy".
Training means: within the first 2 weeks, fully drain the battery at least 5 times (let the lights burn) and then fully recharge it. That improves the battery's lifespan.
Not letting it get lazy means: never store the battery empty in a cupboard. If you're not using it for a while, recharge it every now and then anyway. An empty battery gets weak faster and fails sooner.
Warranty
MTB lighting: 2 years' warranty as standard, 6 months on the battery. Excluded from warranty are LEDs with damage caused by the user and neglected batteries.
LED dog collars: 1 year's warranty as standard, for the stitching coming loose due to a factory defect. 6 months on the battery. Excluded from warranty are collars with damage caused by the dog, water damage on collars that are not 100% waterproof, and neglected batteries.
