Upgrading your H4 Bi halogen bulb to an H4 Bi LED headlight bulb has never been this easy. This 4th-generation Hilox XTR LED kit uses a single bulb for both low and high beam. We found the sweet spot between an ultra-compact size and extremely high light output, so this LED fits in almost any headlight, and with 3,600 real lumens per bulb you're holding the most powerful H4 Bi LED kit on the market. With the XTR LED kit, your car, motorcycle or truck gets a clever piece of technology that's ready for any circuit, terrain or show.

Durable Luxeon Z ES LED chips

The H4 Bi XTR Black LEDs use Luxeon Z ES LED chips from Lumileds (Philips). These are the only LED chips on the market developed specifically for automotive use, which makes them well suited to both reflector and projector headlights. They last up to 30,000 hours: 30 times longer than halogen and 7 times longer than xenon. Lifespan also depends on how often you switch the bulbs on and off. If the LEDs are fitted wrongly or get dirty, they won't last as long.

An H4 headlight usually has plenty of room behind the bulb, and this LED almost always fits there. Before you order, measure the free space behind the headlight with the dust cover on. The driver and CAN-bus module hang loose on the cable and sit next to the headlight. If the dust cover no longer closes, choose a deeper housing cap.

Will this LED fit my car?
An H4 headlight usually has plenty of room behind the bulb, and this LED almost always fits there. Before you order, measure the free space behind the headlight with the dust cover on. The LED sticks out 38 mm behind the flange, with a heatsink of Ø42 mm. The driver (66 x 31.1 x 15.7 mm) and the CAN-bus II module (70 x 38 x 23.5 mm) hang loose on the cable and sit next to the headlight. If the dust cover no longer closes, a deeper housing cap solves it.
Will the XTR Black trigger a dashboard warning?
No. The included CAN-bus II module has been completely redeveloped and makes the set 100% CAN-bus proof: no bulb failure warning on the dashboard and no flickering.
Do I need to modify my headlight to fit the LED?
Usually not. The XTR LED is ultra-compact and plug-and-play: it fits in almost any headlight with no extra wiring or modifications. Some cars need a mounting adapter or a deeper housing cap.
Does the LED work in both reflector and projector headlights?
Yes. The Luxeon Z ES chips from Lumileds were developed specifically for automotive use and give a good beam pattern in both headlight types. Because the LED rotates through 360 degrees, you can set the beam exactly where you want it.
How long do the bulbs last?
The Luxeon Z ES chips last up to 30,000 hours: 30 times longer than halogen and 7 times longer than xenon. The Smart Cool chip with Maglev fan stops the chips from burning out. Are the bulbs waterproof?
Yes, the XTR LED is IP68 waterproof and resistant to rain, flying spray and dust.
Can I use this LED on public roads?
No. This LED has no ECE approval and is therefore only meant for private land or the track, not for public roads. LED bulbs for a halogen or xenon fitting cannot receive ECE approval; that goes for every brand. An E-mark on the bulb covers the electronics and does not make the bulb suitable for public roads.
