Size
The PX5 dog collar is 60 cm long, 2 cm wide and adjustable by about 5 cm in length, so it always fits snugly around your dog's neck.
Not sure which size you need? Simply measure the collar your dog wears now. If your dog does not wear a regular collar yet, measure around the neck, and make sure you leave at least 2 fingers of slack underneath (then it is definitely not too tight).
Rainproof
These collars are built to take a knock and a rain shower: the PX5 LED collar is IP65 waterproof. The charging point is built into the collar itself, so you can walk your mate in the rain without a worry.
Batteries
The Hilox PX5 LED collar comes with a rechargeable battery (120 mAh cell) and a USB charger. You can charge it yourself from your PC, laptop or phone charger, and you never have to replace batteries. Charging takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes, and the LEDs switch off when it is done. That way you always know when the battery is full. Handy, right?
A fully charged collar lets you keep an eye on your pet in the dark for about 4 to 5 hours.
The LEDs
This PX5 LED collar has 6 high power LEDs. They make the collar light up nicely and make your four-legged friend easy to spot.
Whether you go for blue, red, green or orange, the PX5 collars are a really fun and safe gadget for you and your dog. The PX5 has 3 modes:
• On: the LEDs shine continuously
• Fast flashing
• Slow flashing
Battery conditioning
Charge the collars in good time, do not leave them sitting idle in a cupboard for too long (the battery gets lazy), and do not let your dog swim with the collar on.
All Hilox LED collars come with a 1-year warranty! You do have to use them properly, though ;-)
