How to charge the collar
Charging the rechargeable Hilox collars takes just a few steps:
- Connect the supplied USB cable to the collar.
- Plug the cable into a USB port, for example on your PC, laptop or phone charger.
- Wait until the light goes out. According to the product data for the PX1 and PX4, charging takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes, and the light goes out as soon as the battery is full.
On a full battery you can keep an eye on your dog in the dark for about 4 to 5 hours, according to the product data. Charge the collar after every long evening walk and it is always ready for the next one.
PX1, PX1+ or PX4: which one should you pick?
Hilox has three rechargeable nylon collars. According to the product data:
- PX4: 1.5 cm wide, for smaller dogs, in sizes from 26-28 cm to 35-40 cm. One fibre-optic tube with a high-power LED. IP65 splash-proof.
- PX1: 2 fibre-optic tubes with 2 high-power LEDs, in sizes from 35-40 cm to 60-80 cm and in red, orange, blue, green and multicolour. IP65 splash-proof and a pulling force of about 100 kg.
- PX1+: the same build as the PX1, but 100% waterproof. The pick for dogs that love to swim.
