Why have you chosen for a LED dimmed light?
In this case, I chose a led kit because the light output of the standard lamp is very moderate. This is especially noticeable in the dark when there is no light on the roads. The Hilox LED kit has changed, now I have up to 3 times more light than the halogen lamp.
What product did you use?
For my VW Polo from 2014, I have chosen for a H7 LED kit van Hilox, because I had good experiences with Hilox in my previous car, so I have chosen it again.
How was the installation of the LEDs?
Installing is easy, especially if you have installed a halogen lamp a couple of times! The wiring and the cooling ribs got well in place, which was actually the “hardest” I’ve been working on for about 5 minutes. In total, the installation took me about 25 minutes for both lamps.
Below are some pictures of the installation

Pro Installation Tip: Install LED Dimmers
Installing these LED Dimmers in your VW Polo is quite simple. The only thing you need to know beforehand is whether you have enough space (55mm) to put the led in the headlight. If you have enough space here, you will definitely enjoy the light that you get.

Pro Installation Tip: Adjust the LED Dimmers
Because the headlamp itself does not change anything except the lamp, you do not have to reset the headlamp in most cases. But nevertheless, it’s wise to check that you do not blind the uncoming traffic. Put your car against a wall and mark the light beam. After installing the LEDs, check whether this is the same.
What are your findings about the H7 LED kit for your dipped beam?
I am pleasantly surprised by the high light output which is the same as the xenon kit that I was used in my previous car. The leds are on immediately and do not have to start up, therefore I recommend it for every Polo driver!
